Story Surgery

Today, we learned that authors often change the pace in their writing.  To do this, they must often go back to previous pieces of work and add more or less detail.  The students partnered up today and performed what we call, “Story Surgery” on their respective pieces of work. Here, you can see Monica and Madison digging in and rewriting some of their pieces to give their readers a variation of paces throughout their work.
