Well, we made it through most of the week. So, that was nice. Parents, just a bit of housekeeping info for you on this lovely Friday.
IXL Homework: I will try to post the following weeks IXL Math homework on Friday, the week before. This will allow those of you who like to get an early jump on things to start a little early, or even complete your work during the week.
Acuity Testing: This past week, we took our Acuity Math Test B. The students did wonderfully. We saw some outstanding results from them. Next week, on Monday, we will be taking the Acuity Language Arts Test B.
Spelling Bee: The school spelling Bee will be held next Thursday, January 22nd at 1:30 in the gym. We have three outstanding representatives from our classroom, Ethan Bledsoe, Emma Townsend, and Olivia Luban. Best of luck to you!
Snow Days: Just to remind you, on Snow Days, I will do my best, each time that we have one, to send out a “Remind” Notice to each one of you. In the notice, I will let you know if I have homework posted online. I will also do my best to open up a classroom chatroom for the students. This worked out very well last week as they had the opportunity to ask questions as needed. They can also use this as a social setting if they are just bored and missing their friends.
AR Reading: Parents, I just want to remind you that your student should be reading like a champion at home each night along with their other homework. If they come home and say that they have no homework, they still have reading to do! Help make this generation a generation who loves to read!
Classroom Wish List: If you have any items that you would be willing to donate to our classroom store that would be wonderful! It really helps me out and I know that the students love doing auctions in here! Thank you for all the generosity that you have already shown throughout the school year!
Have a wonderful weekend!
