Flipped Math Lesson

This week, I’m going to make an attempt at trying something new for our math lessons.  We are going to try “flipping” them.  To do this, the students’ homework will be to watch a brief video lesson that I will create.  Then, when they come to class the next day, they will have the background information needed to complete their work.

So, basically, they will be getting the lesson portion at home, and they will be doing their homework here in the classroom.  I will be here to help out as needed and answer questions for them as they are doing their work in class.

I just wanted to try this out for a few days and see how things go.  Please, if you have any feedback for me, shoot me an email.
